Special Events

Communications are critical to the smooth running of your event. Some organisers rely on mobile phones - but how often have you called someone and they don't answer, or they have no mobile phone signal? Signal is often a problem for rural events, and also events where there are a lot of people on or near the site. Remember phone masts in the middle of nowhere do not have capacity for a lot of users at the same time.

A radio is far more useful, as you can put a call out which everyone else will hear on their radio, rather than using a mobile phone and just calling 1 person. This can save a lot of time.

Our systems are totally independent from the phone networks, we always carry back up equipment incase of major failures. All repeaters have battery backup in the event of mains failure.

We use high quality equipment, all of our communications equipment is made by ICOM. This includes our handheld radios, mobile radios, and repeater systems. Our equipment is serviced yearly.
